Boomi supports publishing and subscribing to Oracle AQ WebLogic JMS through Boomi’s JMS connection. The connection is fairly easy to setup with known connection information. Although, finding the jar files required can be difficult if you do not know where to look. The drivers can be obtained from Oracle by download and install a WebLogic server, and then finding the jar files within the install directory.

How to obtain Oracle AQ WebLogic Jar files
Go to Oracle’s website and download Oracle WebLogic Server. For this article we are installing Oracle WebLogic Server 12.1.3, but when you choose which version to download select the version of the server that is being connected to. An free Oracle account will need to be used to download the file.

Install Oracle WebLogic via Oracle’s documentation. A JDK (Java Development Kit) needs to be installed prior to installing Oracle WebLogic Server. Oracle JDK 8 can be downloaded here. Select the correct download for your system. Once installed, the Oracle WebLogic Server install documentation can be followed. The Oracle documentation initializes the install through the command line, but after that it looks like a standard UI install.
During the install, one of the screens will ask for your Installation Location. For me I installed it at C:/Program Files/Oracle/WebLogic on a Windows computer. Remember this location.
Once installed, the two jar files that are required can be searched for within the Installation Location directory.
After the files have been found, they need to be loaded into your Boomi account library, a custom library created, and finally, the custom library deployed to an environment.
Information on how to create a custom library can be found in Boomi’s documentation.
Once the files have been obtained, Oracle WebLogic Server can be uninstalled. Follow the directions starting at section 5.3.1 Starting the Deinstallation Program within Oracle’s documentation. The deinstallation program will be started by using the command line and once initialized it will use a UI to uninstall the WebLogic Server.
